Shiro Dhara

Shiro meaning “head” and dhara meaning “warm stream of oil” involves running a warm stream of herbal infused oil over the forehead and scalp, helping to coordinate the right and left hemispheres of the brain. This induces a state of peace and calm, deeply relaxing the nervous system and restoring body mind balance. It’s also a nourishing treatment for the hair and scalp. It consist of a scalp, neck and shoulder massage, a mini facial, and a hand and foot massage, enhanced with earth sounds and heartbeat rhythms.

Ayurvedic Rejuvenation

Warm paste of ayurvedic herbs are applied to the body and let dry, while compressions are administered to back, legs and arms. Herbs are removed with a loofa and exfoliated skin is soft and smooth after a warm bath. Very brisk massage is done with herbal balancing oil to help detoxify and nourish the skin. A mini facial is given and marma points (small energy vortexes that aid in relaxation and balancing) are worked on. This ends with herbal tea to continue to detoxify and balance.
